As a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) teamed with Bowhead, an Alaska Native Corporation 8(a) Joint Venture, M5B Global simplifies the contract process for our clients and expedites contract awards. 

The U.S. Department of Defense has the authority to directly award sole-source contracts to Bowhead M5B Global JV valued up to $100 million per contract.

Step 1

The Contracting Officer defines the scope of the project and sends the offering letter to the SBA Business Opportunity Specialist (BOS) identifying the requirement and M5B Global as the preferred services provider.

Step 2

The SBA BOS accepts the offer letter on behalf of M5B Global within 2-10 days.

Step 3

M5B Global negotiates the contract with the Contracting Officer through a Direct Award Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Step 4

The Contracting Officer awards the contract. M5B Global begins contract performance.

Michael S. Bradshaw

Founder & CEO

Michael S. Bradshaw, Founder and CEO of M5B Global, is a seasoned Senior Operations and Business Development Executive with over 36 years of experience in corporate management. Throughout his career as a government contractor, Mr. Bradshaw has successfully “built from scratch” and led multiple companies and pioneered advanced technical programs across various sectors, including Cybersecurity, Aviation, Manned and Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Simulation & Training, Logistics Support Services, Information Technology, and full lifecycle Software Development.

A Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Bradshaw has also served as a Business Leader on the State of Nevada Aerospace and Defense Sector Council and the State of Nevada Information Technology Sector Council. A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, he holds a B.A. in International Studies/Russian, Magna Cum Laude, from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

Nancy Grigsby

CFO

Ms. Nancy Grigsby has over 25 years of finance experience including CFO and Senior Controller positions in both start-up and established companies. She has advised client executives on how to build or improve their financial systems, taking advantage of leading tools and technology.  In addition to experience in Government Contracting, she has finance management experience in a variety of industry sectors to include professional services, construction, real estate, manufacturing, food service, and biotechnology.

Ms. Grigsby is highly skilled in how to train employees, update and streamline financial systems, departmental processes, and financial reporting to meet compliance requirements. Her leadership and CFO experience results in reduced costs and improved financial planning and budgeting. She holds a BS in Accounting and is actively pursuing a master’s degree in accounting and Cybersecurity.

Mark Bennington

VP of Acquisitions

Mark D. Bennington comes from a distinguished career in acquisition and contract management within the U.S. military’s procurement and supply sectors. His last role as NAVSUP Assistant Commander for Contracting highlights his expertise in shaping the contracting framework across the Navy Field Contracting System. At NAVSUP, a global enterprise employing over 24,000 military and civilian staff, Mr. Bennington’s leadership is pivotal in ensuring efficient and strategic contracting services that support naval operations worldwide.

Appointed to the Senior Executive Service in December 2005, Bennington holds the highest certifications in Contracting and Program Management from the Acquisition Professional Development Program and is a recognized Fellow and Certified Professional Contract Manager by the National Contract Management Association.

Further highlighting his extensive background in acquisition, Bennington served as the Executive Director for Acquisition Management at the Office of Naval Research (ONR). In this capacity, he was the Head of the Contracting Activity (HCA), where he managed all acquisition matters related to the Department of the Navy and Marine Corps Science and Technology programs. His earlier role as the Director of Contracts at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) saw him advising on innovative acquisition strategies, enhancing the agency’s ability to pursue advanced research initiatives through effective contracting.

Amanda Heiserman

Vice President, Business Development

Mrs. Amanda Heiserman is a seasoned logistics professional with over a decade of experience within the government and federal contracting environments. She specializes in the acquisition, procurement, and distribution of medical devices and other mission-critical supplies supporting the U.S. Army and other military branches in combat environments. 

Her experience also includes logistics project management, warehouse and fleet management and supporting new research and development initiatives, including emerging technologies and weapons systems, across both CONUS and OCONUS operations. During her time with the Army she was also responsible for the vendor management of multiple major defense contractors and quality control.  

She is an expert in forecast planning, material movement, and full lifecycle logistics planning, with a proven ability to manage complex supply chains, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver reliable logistics solutions that support operational readiness and mission success.  

Kevin Balisky

Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

Kevin Balisky is a retired U.S. Army Officer with over 30 years of distinguished service in leadership, strategic planning, and program management. He has advised senior U.S. and foreign leaders in East Africa, at U.S. Africa Command, and the National Capital Region, while managing multimillion-dollar programs and shaping defense policy that advanced national security and strengthened international partnerships.

Following his military career, Kevin served as a General Manager for a defense contractor, driving $20M in prime contracts and spearheading business development initiatives. He has also worked as an independent contractor, providing expertise in leadership consulting, team building, and training.

Kevin holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arkansas. His career reflects a commitment to empowering teams, fostering collaboration, and delivering measurable impact in high-stakes environments.

Emmitt Rodriguez

Aviation Maintenance Director

Mr. Emmitt Rodriguez is an expert in U.S. and Foreign Military Aviation and Ground Maintenance, with a strong background in logistics and procurement support. With over 40 years of experience spanning the U.S. Army, NATO, and Commercial Aviation sectors, he has played a vital role in the development and management of programs for both the United States and allied nations. His expertise extends across a wide range of military programs, including cutting-edge and legacy aircraft and ground systems.

Emmitt specializes in building Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) capabilities under FAA Part 145 regulations, as well as Foreign Military Sales and business development. He has a proven track record in the procurement and logistics management of hard-to-find aircraft parts and components. His global network includes strong relationships with U.S. Government entities, military organizations, and private sector partners across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and South and Central America.

Information Services Director / Cybersecurity SME

Pallav has more than 25 years of technology experience who specializes in customer-focused, technology-driven transformation initiatives using cloud technologies. He applies his extensive experience in innovative technologies to deliver multi-cloud strategies and next-generation digital transformation solutions for both commercial, federal and state clients. Pallav collaborates closely with clients to understand their needs and develops partnerships to craft innovative solutions that enhance customer experience.  He excels in enterprise modernization programs using enterprise-class cloud and hybrid architectures. He is an AWS certified architect, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and certified in ITIL and TOGAF.

Chris Tunley

Quality Assurance Director / Business Development Executive

Mr. Chris Tunley is a business professional who has provided over 30 years of leadership in various business lines including commercial, construction, and government contracting. Throughout his career Mr. Tunley has demonstrated ability in building strategic plans for growth, improving vital business processes which emphasize cost improvement and growth to the bottom line.

Mr. Tunley is an expert strategic planning facilitator, who guides management through a team planning process for integrated strategic, operational, and process implementation plans. He drives teams to become more innovative, focused on customer and market opportunities. He helps senior leaders formulate their best strategy, set strategic and operational objectives, and align the senior management team with the company’s mission, vision, and goals. His analytical specialties are business model financial analysis, business development, and quality management system improvements utilizing ISO standards and CMMI best practices. Mr. Tunley holds ISO Certifications for 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 for implementation and internal/external auditing.

Sarhonda Hannah has over 10 years of experience in all aspects of Industrial Security, including Physical and Personnel Security. She has collaborated with various agencies across the Department of Defense (Army, Navy, and Air Force), the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, and others. Sarhonda has developed security policies and procedures for multiple organizations and has successfully led teams of security professionals.
